e-Business W@tch – Analyses and facts relating to e-business in the EU
The “e-Business W@tch” website is a starting point for information on e-business in the EU Member States. A significant proportion of this comprehensive data is made up of “Impact Studies”. These track and analyse the effects of e-business on 15 different industries. The studies, which are updated regularly, are available for download in full (pdf, 50-100 pages) or as a summary version (pdf, 5-10 pages). The “European e-Business Report 2006 - A portrait of e-business in 10 sectors of the EU economy” (2006 edition) is also available.

E-business in Switzerland
“Netzwoche”, the specialist e-business magazine, sporadically publishes representative studies under the title “Netzreport”. These investigate the nature and extent of e-business activity in Swiss companies.

eMarketer reports: Studies on Internet use und e-business
eMarketer reports gather worldwide information on Internet use and e-business. Information is sourced from market research companies, governmental and non-governmental organisations, and academic institutions. Charts, articles and reports are available (for a subscription charge).

Country reports on IT, Internet and e-commerce
“export.gov”, the export portal of the US government, offers a collection of country-specific information on IT, Internet and e-commerce market conditions. The purpose of the studies is to offer information to US-based IT SMEs so that they can make the right decisions.

UNCTAD E-Commerce and Development Report 2009
The Information Economy Report 2009 "Trends and Outlook in Turbulent Times" (USD 60), published by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), monitors global trends in information and communication technologies (ICTs) as they affect developing countries. Among other things, it contains information on the development of connectivity, as well as the use and growth of ICTs in the business sector.

E-business in Poland (in German)
This site provides facts about the current e-business situation in Poland. The items offered are aimed at SMEs and provide information on technological infrastructure, legal regulations and potential partners. The information was compiled by KEGO (Kompetenzzentrum für den elektronischen Geschäftsverkehr im Oderland) in collaboration with the Technologie- und Innovationscentrum Guben (CIT GmbH) and the Deutsch-Polnisches Eurozentrum.

"Economist" country information
Analysis page of the renowned British magazine "The Economist". Comprehensive analyses on countries and industries. You can buy specific articles (individual regions/industries) from the relatively expensive reports. For many national economies, the e-business industry is also covered.
